2005 Colbalt igntion switch problem

the problem I'm having is ehen I turn the ignition off, power remains at the radio. I have no problems with how the cylinder is working ie: turn on & off engine, insert key, remove key. only thing is the power remaining at the radio. Its at the point that I have to disconnect the battery so it doesnt kill my battery. Any help pointing me in the right direction will be hugely appreciated. thanks for your help
