I just paid $2.96 for a gallon of gas

102.8 cents for a litre here for 91 octance (don't feel like converting but I know its something like 3.40 to 4.00 bucks a gallon....I think, maybe more, maybe less)

Edit: Had nothing better to do, so here is the conversion. I am paying $1.028 per litre. A litre is ~.22 of a gallon, so that'd be 1.028/.22 gallons which is $4.67/gallon if I am not mistaken.

Bah, how I hate canadian gas prices...lol. But at least I am only paying a third of what the UK and most of Europe is paying:D....lol, them and their 4-6 bucks a litre gas...gotta give `em props for their SMART cars and their mopeds though (those things are so fun, you can wheelie for ever...in a rental...lol)

I can only imagine what a hurricane is like, all we get here is tornadoes that last usually about 1 minute on the ground (not enough heat built up in the ground to fuel them). We get lots of rain and stupidly humid days (middle of the praries...where does the humidty come from!?) and then we hit -40C in winter without wind....though I do hope everyone that is in the SE of the US isn't affected to badly by Dennis, and I hope nobody gets hurt...cars and houses can be replaced, people can't.

Last I heard, Canada also has SMART cars!

When I visited Germany 2 years ago I absolutely fell inlove with the SMART Roadster! F'n awesome car. They are bringing them to America but they are pricing them in like the high $30,000..

Why run race gas if your not racing?

If I'm not mistake race gas burns cleaner, and he might do only 3-4 gallons to clean it out or to keep it cleaned out... Only reason I can see to do this...

Hurricanes suck!

Tell me about it! I watched 3 of them go through my back yard last year...

(Polk County (central) Florida)

I had just built a new privacy fence before the first one and then had to repair it afterwards, then again after the 2nd, and again after the 3rd. No blue tarps on my roof, though, so I'm still one of the lucky ones, especially considering that I only had to go without power for less than one day.

i run it because it burns cleaner.. also my EVO's ecu tuning is really really picky.... so i have to keep it happy, specially at 22lbs low and 24 high. i'd rather have too much octane than not enough.. and since 93 is the minimum a few more points won't hurt.

Tis is true, and they are cheap here too (hahaha), though in europe they have different models where right now we just have the FourTwo or whatever (the 2 seater with no trunk...basically). They are bringing over the FourFour or whatever its called (4 seater), but in europe they have some weird models that I don't even know how to begin to explain.

Isn't the FourTwo basically the Roadster in Europe? Doesn't it have a 'targa top' appeal to it? I have a del Sol so I am used to the 2 seats minimal trunk thing! :)

Brabus(sp?) just built a (I think) Roadster(basically the FourTwo)... I am pretty sure it is Turbocharged also! LoL

As you can tell, I know little about these cars, I just know that I want one! YAAAY! Ha Ha

yea i got my ECU flashed and dyno tuned by turbotrix.. maybe if i woulda street tuned it it wouldn't be so picky...

ps i was stationed in Germany for 9 years.. you couldn't put me in one of those smart cars.... i used to wonder how people could drive those on the street or even the autobaun... it would scare the life outta me.

I knew when u were saying 22-24psi u had to have some kind of software. Is this user adjustable?

Yes, the FourTwo comes in the roadster style (targa top) and a coupe (hard top) in europe (not sure here, haven't even looked at one here...though I will test drive one someday just so I can say I drove one:P). Some guy over in the UK (I think) put some sport bike engine in the smart car and almost out ran an EVO in the 1/4...lol. Everytime I hear the word SMART car, I can't stop but think about my trip to Italy and seeing their trucks being powered by a motorcycle engine (3 wheeled truck for the win...lol). Its max cargo weight is something like 400-500lbs and towing capicity is like 500-600lbs...downhill....lol.

Yea, if you come on here and tell me you test drove one, I will come up to canada and kick some Canadian butt! :p Please don't take any offence that I said Canadian butt...

I just love the Roadster for some odd reason! It looks a lot like a del Sol and probably faster! LMAO...
I would get one just to have one here.. Would you like to smuggle a SMART car to me? He He..

I will give you the money, you buy one, than drive it across the border, than I will steal it and we will be good to go.. No..??? Ok LoL

Hahaha, okay. Oh but they have a top speed of like 130-140kmh so I doubt they are faster than your del Sol. But they are cool as hell.
