i know there has been a million discussions about it, but how do you do the airbox mod again? can you do it with the 2.2 ls?

i know how to do it now. but can you use any air filter? or does it have to be k & n? because i was gonna try to it for now if you could do it that way, but im getting a k7n filter like next week

You can use pretty much any filter (3 inch i believe), as long as you have a way to clamp it down to the housing. The factory one however should not be used
