i know this can't be a scientific answer, but can you tell us about how many degrees this drops the engine temp when highway driving?

I can't really tell from the MODERN PERFORMANCE blocking a CLEAN view of it.
Honestly, I don't think I'd like it. The scoop needs to be re-shaped.

it looks identical to the visteon hoods/hood scoops for the cougars, that design has been around for a looooooong time

with our cars, i think it would look really good from having a scoop like that, but removing those little raised lines that come down from the front of the scoop, maybe even moved a little forward as well

I love it, but I do agree with selfinfliction, the long lines from the scoop could be shorter IMHO.

yeah it needs to be proportional to the car.. like the cougars and camaros look good with those cause it's a long, smoother looking car... our car is sort of boxy and sleek at the same time.. so it needs mods that are the same way

Right. The one in that pic is THE CAMARO SS design ad thats why people copy it for a lot of other Chevy/GM vehicles... heck you even see em on imports now.... I have even seen one on a FORD RANGER!!!! lol

yeah but maybe a mix between a wrx scoop and a srt4... not all boxy like the wrx, but sticking out a little more than the srt's

Thank you all for your interest.
Just a follow up note, they will be available fairly shortly, and we will be a stocking distributor for these. No need for dropships, etc like some other small time companies will do, we will keep these in stock as soon as they are available, and offer fast shipments via freight truck !

So the bottom part is made out of fiberglass right?

So the bottom part is made out of fiberglass right?

Most are on the majority of ALL CF aftermarket hoods/trunks/fenders/etc.

If you were to get one made out of 100% CF, expect to spend multiple thousands of dollars.

So the bottom part is made out of fiberglass right?

That is correct. The underhood structural bracing is made out of fiberglass.

Does this hood made by IPP, I knew you sold a lot of IPP SRT4 CF Hood.
Pretty good price. On ebay the most is over $600.00 plus S&H
I did see this new IPP CF hood (6k 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber) a lot better than last year.

what are you using to mount the mesh to the carbon fiber?
