My wife's 2005 cobalt brakes start noise on front pads when the brake pedaL touch. I can't afford to take it to the shop:(.
How to do replace the brake pads/drums?
What tools I need to do work on that brakes?

first thing first.... Is it a SS? and if not I havent dealt with the drums on the cobalt ever so Im not sure if it has the bracket bolts for drum applications on the back of the drum housing near the brake line like the wonderful ford focus... need to know that first

Not SS..OEM Cobalt-2 doors. I checked on rear and yes it is drums.
I did searched the google to get diagrams of both front/rear. No luck...
