Hi All!

My GF inherited a 2006 Cobalt SS (non turbo) from her x-husband. We live in a very hilly location in Iowa and I promised her to put a set of good snow tires on it. Here is what I know:

• Stock AL rims and P 205 50 R 17 90 H M+S tires
• Getting tires aren’t a problem for me, I need to find RIMS that will fit
• I have no idea what brakes are on it
• It does have traction control
• It doesn’t have to look good this winter!

Essentially what I want to do, guys and gals, is take off the and put them in the garage for the winter. I want to buy plain rims in a popular size so the tires are inexpensive.

OK OK Bad thread title!!! What I meant to say is that we are not looking for high performance looks and dry pavement braking features... It is just her car to run around selling ALFAC and we want her to get thru the snow this winter!
