Picked up My cobalt last wed ...and so far I have had 2 races ..both 350z's
the first race we were both rolling at like 60 km/h and he gave the thumbs up so i downshifted and gave it ...I was hanging right there inching on me a bit then we hit some traffic and he turned off
second race was from a light and it was a 350z convertible ..he really beat me off the line ...I had a bit more wheel spin than I like but in second I was right back up to him and by 3rd I was a half car length behind .. we came to the next light and just as the light was about to turn green a cop turns right in front of us ...
I wasn't sure if I ran into some bad drivers, since I don’t consider myself to be the greatest driver ..just good
anyway just wondering if any of you have had similar results ..I was really pleased that I could hang with that car like I did ...to get beat by such a small margin made me want to go get a pulley immediately.
i pulled some stats from car and driver and the cobalt isn’t too bad straight line vs the 350 ... 0.1 slower to 60 mph 0.1 slower in the 1/4 and the same skidpad
