I was at work yesterday and saw a Silver SRT-4. Absolutely stunning in that color. It was a true SRT-4, not a badge/wing package. I never saw that color offered, so I was wondering if the owner just had it painted or is/was it possible to special order a color from the factory.

yeah i seen a silver one last weekend. dude had an intercooler so big it looked like it would work on a semi, and a 50 trim turbo :D they're pretty sharp, but i still think blue looks the best on those cars

the guy that owned that srt asked me how fast my ss was and i told him it would probably keep up with an srt until about 60ish then the srt would pull away pretty easily.. he said with snide look.. "not against this one it won't" well no shit buddy lol

Silver?.. Silver has always been available.. I believe white took its place this year though.

Thanks, I just don't recall ever seeing one in silver or seeing it as an optional color. I probably spent 2003-2005 in the nudie bar. That would explain it.

It does look sharp in the silver though.

If they had a muffler on it and factory cruise control, they would have sold a lot more of them.

I saw FOUR different silver SRT-4s just in one parking lot in Hanau yesterday.
The real deal, not the SRT-D. They were TRYING to sell an SRT-D at AAFES (OB color) but one of the salesmen said no one was buying it because it wasn't the "real deal" SRT-4. They also had a Cobalt SS/SC next to a Charger R/T and said they may have to move it somewhere else because everyone was more interested in the Charger. :)

iball, you should go over to frankfurt they have a squad of SRT's there, met a few when i was stationed there but i left 2 years ago, don't know if those guys are still there.

I pretty much LIVE in Frankfurt on the weekends and I haven't seen them. THey are probably gone since Rhein-Main is shutting down and a lot of the AF personnel have already left. Saw one of the SRTforum members in Wiesbaden yesterday on the way back from the commissary there.
STILL waiting for someone to get a Cobalt SS/SC so I can run against it on a nice stretch of autobahn somewhere to see EXACTLY how fast the sucker will go when there's no need to worry about "speed limits".

i also have a silver...its an 05....best color because it never fades terribly and dings aren't as visible

no shit! why are they shutting it down? i hated landing in that place after deployments... all i can think about is having to stand in those damn hangars in formation for it seemed like hours while people "welcomed" us home... i didn't know one person that wanted to do anything but jump on the bus and get the hell home to do some partying lol


also.. anyone over there with a stock or semi-stock srt-4... what do they top out at?
