I've seen cars trap at 135 before though.

All it is a veiw of the gauges as they accerate the whole way up to like 135 and they are hitting like 9grand on each shift.

The rider pops a wheelie from 60-140 and then goes WOT until he hits over 220mph. The speedo gets pegged and the tach keeps climbing. Keep in mind, the rear gearing may have thrown his speedo off some though.

Stock except for progress springs and stronger bushings. Waiting to see if some place will ship the ACR/PT sway bar combo to an APO for non-rediculous shipping fees. Thinking of going coilovers though, since it's kinda rough on those bridge bumps over here. Other than that, it's fine.

The Autobahn is an awesome place to be! The roads are so smooth and the turns are so suttle. It was meant for fast driving. And there are some long ass stretches of open road. If I am not mistake, the autobahn was used by hitler to land planes on.

But WHATEVER you do, DO NOT stay in the left lane! You will get hit! LoL I remember my dad was doing about 190kph and he was having guys get up on our ass flashing their high beams. A ferrari flew right by us, a few motorcycles were going CRAZY fast. Other than that we didn't really hit to many other high speeding cars.

Well, I know the interstate system in the U.S. has some stretches of it designed to land military aircraft on in the event of huge disaster or invasion.
But over here? Nope, forget about it. The plane would hit the rails and flip over.

I am not saying it was meant for it now-a-days. When it was originally designed and built, it was so that Hitlers military could rome about easily and incase of a need, he could land plans. I remember seeing somewhere about the history of it, and they showed video footage of planes being hidden in the trees beside the Autobahn.

After the first couple of cars that got on my dad's ass we started staying in the center-right lane. I love watching the Smart cars though! LoL, they definetly weren't made for the Autobahn! They were made for places like Berlin and such!

That busa was geared for top end speed not for acceleration. In short the spedo was showing slow not fast. its a 17/40 combo on it if you want to do the calcs on a stock rear tire.

hell i stoped at 145 on my car and its stock, but it didn't pull that hard though

Dunno, didn't seem that quick to me. Took almost 20 seconds to reach 200kmh (125mph). Took about 12 seconds to reach 160khm (100mph).

I'd place that car in the mid 13's. Quick, but not breath-taking. :shrug:

Edit: If you stop the vid when the tripometer hits 0.4km, that's about 1/4 mile. Time on the video = 14 seconds.

BTW, here is a vid of a car slightly more powerful (~25whp more) than mine doing a run from 60 to ~160. Realize also that this car on slicks will squirt from zero to 60 in about 3 seconds flat:

that car does 0-60 liike in 5.8 I don't think this vid is anything special my Camaro does better than this car 0-60 in 4 and it does 1/4 in low 10's like 10.17 is best it's fun

I think the busa was showing way faster than it actually was. Watch the turnouts on the left side of the highway. There was no way he was moving that fast.
