Quick info on MP : Modern Performance, is enjoying its 8th year in business this year. MP started solely around the Dodge Neon, and has continued to be a specialist in American Sport Compact cars. Vehicles such as the SRT-4, Focus, Cobalt, non turbo Eclipse and more. What makes MP unique is that every car we have specialized in, we have owned, and done actual tuning on !

i second the motion. gas is still above 3 bucks a gallon. i aint going anywhere near anything with 8 cylinders.

I have been buying parts from you guys for quite along time now. It all started with my 95 neon, and still going on with the srt. You guys rule! Keep up the good work, PS I love my 3" MPX exhaust\cat, man that piece is just awesome, worth every penny! :D Modern has never done me wrong.

I see a Domokun! Domokuns are the shit man! And so are LS1's, LS2's, LS6's, and LS7's. And who can forget Displacement on Demand. No other car company has that technology (to my knowledge. If my knowledge is misinformed, please reinform it). Let's see some old school Saturn S-Series in front of that building. Ha.

you are in fact wrong. DCX developed the technowledgy and applied it the their hemi'd cars back when the magnum r/t came out. they call it MDS (multiple displacement system) and it rates the 340 hp/390 tq hemi in the magnum, the 300c, and the new charger at 18/25 i believe. they're quite cabale of 20+ mpg as well.

andto gtp, no one who's modding an ls1 is "keeping they're foot out of it". i've gotten 28+ mpg on city/highway cruising in my ss by keeping my foot out of it, but that happens rarely. i get around 20mpg combined cuz i just love the way it picks up. if i had an ls1, i'd be getting 10mpg. :D

Either way, no matter who developped it, it's awesome technology. You can now destroy Hondas on the track and keep up with them between gas stations on the ride home.

If youre in this hobby and youre complaining about gas mileage or trying to use that as any kind of leverage, youre an idiot and need to find something else to do, like R/C planes or something.

that 28mpg is an estimated highway rating. the hemi's with the MDS have 37 more hp, more torque, and almost half a liter more in displacement. so it's not that chevy's system is better (they both work the same: deactivating half the cylinders when power is not neaded) but more of the extra cubes and the fact that it's a hemi and gets trash for gas mileage regularly that contributes to the difference of 3mpg highway. the city mpg rating is probly closer.

how bout you go to hell? i have my college tuition to pay, i just stopped driving my ram cuz it got 10 miles to the gallon and was costing me over 600 bucks a month to drive (plus a 550 monthly and 300 for insurance... and this was when gas was $1.80 per gallon). i'm not looking to blow all my money on gas when i have to spend 700 bucks a semester just on books. just cuz i try to balance performance and gas mileage doesn't mean i'm in the wrong hobby and should start playing with r/c planes. cuz that's gay and so is 10 mpg.
