We had the chance to try out the Injen short ram/cold air on our '06 Cobalt Ls and wanted to share it with you guys. Also tested a few different combo's with headers/intake - header only - intake only etc. The car is automatic so the #'s are about 5% lower due to the trans - hope pictures show up ok........thanks for looking.

Holy shit, thats nearly 20 whp. how did the car feel after wards? im getting a 5 spd soon and am looking for parts for it. did it have an exhaust or just the intake and header? was it open header or with the exhaust hooked up? with a 5 spd looks like over 140 will be easy. the torque is insane!

the header alone looks like it does 11hp/6tq... together with a cai it does 15hp/10tq. that's about a 10% increase in hp and about 8-9% in tq... so it's not too shabby.

at first look i thought it was 112 as the baseline. the dyno is hard to read on my computer because of the darker color.

either way the total power gained is pretty good. best i have seen so far.

this car averages 133-135 on every test we have done with minor mods to the header. hot cold warm all tests have been tried.
