I was wondering what everyone was paying for gas because the gas prices just sky rocketted to $1.99, $2.09, $2.13. That just started for today yesterday it was only i think like $1.85, 1.95, 2.05 or something like that.

Thursday On my way home from work at 8am I filled up at $1.69 and then when I woke up and left for work at 10pm on the same day it went up $0.40 to $2.09.

Last weekend I payed $1.93, I live in South FL

about $2.07 right now for premium

WELL in michigan it jumps around alot usually never lower then 2.05 but no higher then 2.35 but i just wait.. i play it like the stock market! buy low use it while its high then hope it falls b4 i need more!

Only one local place sells 93 so they jack up their prices.

Hmmmm, I thought they sold 93 everywhere, it's at every station around here, we don't even have 91, it goes 87, 89, 93. Goes up by 10 cents per grade.

No the only place where i can get 93 is at a Sunoco Gas station and it so damn expensive.

Yeah i might run it in my Cobalt when i get it but i am not to sure it will all depend on the price of gas by then.

yeah thats the only thing i run in the srt when im driving is 93, but since I am not driving it for another 2 months my wife just uses it to drive to school so she has been putting 89 in it. And before anyone says I shouldn't be doing that it's ok, we have real good gas in the area, I emptied the tank once and filled up with 89 just to see if there would be any spark knock or anything else to using lower octane gas and the only thing I found was that boost dropped a little, and I could a performance decrease, other than that it drove fine if you keep your foot out of it.
She jsut told me today that mid-grade is $2.29..eeek

well last monday i paid $28 for regular gas, to fill up....first time in my life i put 28 on gas on 1 tank!!! its a 2.2 cavalier by the way

I pay about $22.00 each fill up and i have to fill up twice a week because my car is such a hog.

It costs me over $30 for my 2.2L S-10(same engine up there in that lil cavy- both are 2.2L OHV). Yeah it sucks, but I guess it's ok cause it'll get me around for a week or BETTER if a stay out of it, hey when somethin is THIS SLOW you've got to nail to even THINK you're actually goin anywhere, j/k its not that slow but it definitely aint NO kind of fast!!

i chose 91 cuz i was drivin home from my g/f house (bout 100miles :( )

..anyway, i have like .. less than half a tank after puuting $20 bucks and STILL not getting full, AND it's a real smal tank

It went up again around here 2.13, 2.19, 2.29 and it is bound to go up again soon it seems it go's up every week.

yeah gas sucks. i think im gonna start haveing to syphon it... hah. i wish. our '71 goat doesnt get filled up anymore with prices like this... its sad really. but she still has a quarter tank. she really likes the 103 octane "turbo blue" we have here, but thats up over 3 dollars. sorry but there aint no way shes getting that anymore with the 12 miles to the gallon she gets.

Really i thought the gas was not done going up but there are some palces that are still 2.19 but some places are 2.15.

Yeah that 20 mpg is high way. :( And i only got a 2.8 V-6 and i think the V-8 camaro's get beter mpg.
