: Good, Fast, Cheap --- Pick 3?
ekool 03-05-2005, 01:08 AM Will the Cobalt SS be one of the first cars from GM that will allow you to score the trifecta. Good build quality, good performance, and at a good price point?
What are your opinions on the subject, do you think GM can score in all 3 categories once the vehicle is released and finally starts hitting the streets in mass quantity?
Gravorg 03-05-2005, 05:35 AM It looks that way. Been trying to get info from my father-in-law (he works at the pontiac plant in Pontiac, MI) to see if he can get an idea on when we can all see it up close and personal. But this car does appear to have all the bases covered. I am definatly gonna be in when when they hit teh showroom floor.
MrCleanY0 03-05-2005, 12:35 PM if the suspension is the same as the redline's then it'll handle like it's on rails. You won't be disappointed when you drive your SS's home from the dealers.
Gravorg 03-05-2005, 05:28 PM I drove the RL and I LOVED IT. I am just partial to Chevy so I am waiting for the SS. Can't wait till I can drive it home and share pics with everyone! :)
bowtiefreak 03-06-2005, 05:41 PM Without a doubt! The other day I was talking with young Honda owner that was amazed at the prospect of an ecotec ss fully loaded for around 21k. The power will be there, the handling will be there, the quality and reliability will be there and the price is right on the money!

Short and sweet and like you said there are not very many cars that offer all of that rolled in to a car for realivly cheap price witch makes for a good bang for you bucks.
CoBIZZLE 04-08-2005, 11:06 AM Its only competition that it has to worry about is the SRT-4. And hopefully the price will drop as the seasons pass, and new year models come in, maybe they will be listed lower.

I know but that is only for now we will see if any other cars like the SS come out.
Seanie719 04-22-2005, 04:37 PM I think its cool how in the last couple of years manufacturers have been coming out with some nice, fast, and good priced cars.
87camaroPA 04-22-2005, 05:24 PM That is the smart thing to do. If you make good cheap and fun to drive cars you will be alpelling to a larger group of people.

Yeah, Like the new GT!!!! Im a Pontiac man but for the price there is nothing to compare to it in any way shape or form.
RockTart 05-19-2005, 03:24 PM The Cobalt seems to be selling well and with a hand shaker in it the thing moves. The ss coupe will sell for a while but man the 4 door SS is awesome. The 2.4 is a nice idea and with gravana on ground effects and offering a bolt on turbo over the supercharger on the 2.0 (300 + HP) this thing will fly. 4 wheel disc brakes and fe5 suspension will keep ur on the road. I am allergic to ditches. If the price is resonable Sign me up.
