$350?!?!?!?!

For that??!

Wow, I could totally make the exact same thing out of mandrel bent exhaust tubing for less than $100, like I did on mine. And still get it coated for less. Sheesh.

I finally decided to order a Fujita CAI from Ptuning. Fujita told me it's a 3" mandrel bent piping which flares to a 3,5" at the filter.

Sorry Ninja hahah I got the Fujita intake first....I recieved it at 2pm yesterday and installed it at 4pm. All I can say is WOW! The differance is amazing the increase in power comes on at 2000-6000rpms....Well worth the wait....Just got a CEL yesterday after a 2hr drive....check clamps, reset battery and checked MAF direction and used screws that came with the kit....Is anyone else have a CEL light...I am going too try driving it and see if it goes out...

Almost guaranteed using the screws that came with the kit should solve the problem...people have been running into the same problems with the K&N CAI as well when not swapping out the stock screws for the new ones :).

Make sure to take a drive by Ninja's house just to let him know you've got it installed :p.

Bastard!!! Ahhh well it'll be here tomorrow and my Magnaflow Cat back will be here Tues :D Did you unplug the Neg terminal before you started to put the intake in? If it doesn't go out then disconnect the terminal again and go into the car and try to start it to "empty" the system. Leave it off for a minimum of 20 mins. When you re connect teh Battery start the car and let it idle for 5 mins or so, DO NOT TOUCH THE GAS PEDAL!!! If that doesn't clear it up PM me and we'll get it solved ;)

...now I REALLY can't wait to see/hear your car since I've been considering the Magnaflow for my 2.2L. Just don't know if I trust the sound clips online 100% but they sounded good to me...I'm probably just as excited as you are :o.

I had a custom 2.25 cat back made on my Eco Z24 and I used a magnaflow muffler and I think it was a 18" Magnaflow resonator and trust me Ryan you'll love it!!! Forget Flowmaster or Borla, stick with the Magnaflow and you'll be tickled shitless if you like the same type of deep smooth sound I do, but to each his own
:D

It doesn't sound like you have a fart can on it does it? Using the Magnaflow. I am trying to stay away from that noise. That is why I haven't bought a muffler yet. Can't find a muffler that sounds deep....well as deep as you can get with a four cylinder. :p

The Magnaflow has a deep tone to it, just get the oval and NOT the round muffler and the exhaust can be "tuned" with resonators, get as big a resonator as you can fit.

That's exactly what I was hoping to get out of an exhaust...the performance gain is nice but I've always liked the sound of Magnaflow's exhaust systems and the sound clips of the 2.2L definitely didn't disappoint...tickled shitless is about right :D! I would also most definitely go with the oval muffler over the round, one since I prefer the look of it much more than that of the round and the round ones seem to always put out a different sound no matter the company that I'm not real wild about.

Time for me to start saving because their catback system isn't exactly cheap but I'm sure it's well worth the money in the long run. I can't stop drooling over the in-car sound clip ;).
