As long as you tighten in enough that is plenty.

It's finally installed. Install went well, it was pretty easy, just getting to the box was the hardest part. I did get the CEL and was hoping it was the lean code and luckily it wasn't. I went to walmart to get an OBD II reader and hooked it up, looked up the code and it was something to do with PCM keep alive memory so I erased it and no CEL. :D Then I started to give it hell and there is a noticable difference and I ain't talking about the sound either which is AWESOME BTW! Throttle responce is dead on and there's is a slight extra bit of perk now. I used to feel the car running good at 3k RPM but now its a little before 2k!
Here's some pics...

I can't wait to go to work tonight...there's this prelude owner who thinks his car is unbeatable. It's not a bad looking car actually. Nice and clean looking but he has the ricer mentality....sooner or later the car will look like shit.

Does anyone know if using those code readers could possibly erase some other ECU, PCM info? Hopefully just the code right? I have the keep alive memory code and that was just because the battery was disconnected right?

After my intake install tonight I got a CEL. I have noclue what the code is but if it is the "keep alive memory" thing or just the battery being disconnected will it go away on it's own?

I don't know if it will go away. I ran my battery dead one time and got that same code and the dealer reset it for me. I reset it this time myself cause I got an OBD II reader. It MAY go off but hell, I'd mke a trip to a local walmart and pick up that reader...pretty handy :)

K&N do make a CAI for the Redline. Vita over at Redline forums set up a group buy earlier this year. Price ran about $215 if I remember right.
