i was racing a mustang 5.0 in my car club just for kicks and i launched like i always do, but my clutch would not disengage until right before 4th gear. needless to say, that stinks pretty bad. does anyone know if there's a company out there that has or will have a better clutch for us?

LOL.....right, but you'd be surprised. There has probably been people out there with Autos trying to buy it. Now a days you have to cover all bases. :rolleyes:

thanks for the info, that really helps! does anyone have one yet, or recommend what stage i should buy? i noticed stage 2 and 3 are the same price, but at what point is it overkill? i do drive my car pretty hard.

me personally i would go with a stage 2, becase my cobalt is a daily driver. once you hit the stage 3+ clutches, it starts getting pretty stiff/jerky

I've always had good luck with Spec clutches. They have stage 1 through stage 5 available for the SS.
