Toc toc toc ... Friday, October 14, 3:55 PM Eastern, the UPS man drop me the Fujita CAI ! It has been purchased from Ptuning and came with a free filter cleaning kit. Unfortunately I cannot promise you some pics, since I have'nt any camera, but stay tuned for the installation, maybe some dyno results next week ... The 3,5" filter top opening is big. I thinked that the filter had a hole on the bottom, but it haven't, it's a funnel design, for sure it's closed.

I have serious fitment issues with this intake. The lower tube in the fender doesn't go up far enough and it doesn't allow the fender liner to go up all the way and when I turn right full lock it rubs the tire slightly. I'm happy with the sound of the charger now but the fitment issue really pisses me off :mad:

maybe ya missed something there, i heard they sit higher up, seems a bit weird that u got fitment issues, check it out again, let me know, thanks

How about that CEL light Ninja, did it go out? Was it just from the battery disconnect?

Mine will be here Friday, and I'm hoping I don't get a CEL with this Psi-Fi kit. I was the first Cobalt to have it done, this was before they wired it different to fix it for guys who had intakes/filters.

Its been 3 months, not a single code yet with my K&N E-1009 replacement. I just think I'm gonna have to go back to them to get the fix when I install this.

I re-installed it twice to make sure and the tube won't go up any further. It seems that the lower tube that I got is a little too long and angles downward too much. The CEL went out this morning on startup so it must of been from unhooking the battery. Not the happiest camper right now.

why not cut the lower tube? i havent seen a pic but it shouldnt be hard to modify, often times aftermarket parts do not line up and need some adjusting.

btw, where in toronto do you live? im in the pickering/scarborough area and would like to meet some people off here and check out their cars

yeah, it sucks that the aftermarket usually lacks in fitment/quality. I would issue a customer complaint if the company wont resolve the problem by replacing your product.
