Well after 2 weeks of wrenching in my off time i have finished the bottom end build of my cobalt. I followed the GM book for the 250 to 400 hp guide. it feels a little slower because of the lowered compression but i'm driving it a bit easy to let everything settle in. can't wait till the turbo kit gets here!!

the gm sport compact build book. there was a link to it on this site somewhere it was free. yas it still is a 2.2 the crank is still stock and the bore did not change. not much to get pics of it's all internal. when the turbo gets here i will have pics up. i was amazed how easy it was to do. the book goes over it all. i have rebuilt a few 350 chevys in my time so i had some background.

Hopefully within a year I can get my turbo. Going with Maximumboost.net's kit. Used to be Xtremecavalier.com. Seems pretty complete except for a few items. Downpipe and boost gauge.
