I was driving home after work.. oh and this isnt really a race story.. just somthing funny taht happened today. anyway i was driving home, and this guy like 3 lanes over, rolls his window down, and says "hey lets hear what that thing can do", i just turned my head and laughed... i love random compliments/admirers. Especially from a construction worker.. haha. ( sorry if this is in the wrong section, just thought it was funny.)

I have people at stop lights wanting to race me every day. Most are 1/2 ton trucks or every day common cars. They take off full throttle and I sit back and laugh :D

lol.. i usually dont get many people that want to race... but some people comment sometimes.. it's always a good laugh.

Yeah, I get turbo diesel 1/2 ton 4x4's that think I will race them (which can move pretty good). alot of drive through restaurant comments like "what kind of car is this" or "is that the new COBALT". Guys with corvette's and (my favorite) BOXSTERS who seem to be snickering. I certainly gain respect from the BOXSTERS though.

My brother cannot believe the performance that comes with this car. The performance is very comparable to the 78-81 Camaro Z28.

1/2 ton turbo diesels?...they must have been special ordered or custom built cause most turbo diesels...or diesels for that matter have 3/4 or 1 ton springs in em...not hating just curious
