: On the lot & ready to be bought.....
OldSkool 03-28-2005, 12:05 AM So, who really wants to buy a Cobalt SS? I went for a ride yesterday to visit my aunt and decided to see if one of the PA Cobalts was still on the lot. Whadddya know, there it was. $23,810 MSRP - all the standard stuff plus OnStar, Side air bags and sunroof (+ dest chg). 3 miles off the Pa turnpike exit 67 (Irwin) on US 30 at Kenny Ross Chevrolet. Reaaaaaal EZ to get to if you can find the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Also take note of this interesting item in the lower left corner of the window sticker. The receiving dealer was not this dealer, but the Northeast Region - Purchase, NY. Something tells me that the Cobalts were delivered to this central hub and then dished out by some kind of lottery maybe?
man i wish i had the money
RedRover 03-28-2005, 04:19 AM  omg i cant waite until these things hit the dealers here in Cali.

Looks like you're correct, this car was built for an autoshow, when the show is over they divey out the cars to local dealers by pulling from a hat (so to speak).
Did you speak to a sales rep? Are they willing to discount the price?

johnkb8 03-28-2005, 03:03 PM wish it was not red, then i might take that one
JamesBrown 03-28-2005, 03:41 PM Anybody know how much freight charges would be to have one trucked to California from Pennsylvania?
actionjackson 03-28-2005, 04:46 PM Drive to Pennsylvania and buy one. Then drive back wide open the whole time. But first come to my house and race me so I cansay my RSX housed a Cobalt. I wanna hear the Cobalt turbonator spool.
ZX1100F1 03-28-2005, 05:07 PM The lack of California Emissions may be a problem when trying to register it, unless you wait until it has over 7,500 miles on the odo then it is considered a used car and exempt from the California I/M requirement.

I'll be calling tomorrow to verify this. If it's not spoken for, I'll be driving it off the lot this weekend.
Thanks.
