Whats up, Got one today at the dealership near me. They just got it in from a trade w/ another dealership. Stopped by after work, wasn't too sure about the car being red. Anyway it did have the black and red interior too, so I bought it...I'll get some pics up later on. This car is sweet.

Im up in North Jersey. Got the SS from Hawthorne Chevy. I'll get the pics up later this weekend, going away till Sunday, but I'll have them up then hopefully. God I can't stop staring at it, looks even better in the sunlight...lol

Hey i got my SS on good friday....it has some balls let me tell you....im still breaking it in but it has so much potential..i dont have a web cam but i might go out and buy one to post some pics....it blue with blue and black seats..oh yah the thing bumps like hell for the system it has :D

Well I just picked up my SS on saturday in Pittsburgh. Sunday (today) I brought it home (300 miles) to North East, Md. Through the snow and rain over the mountains this baby was a blast to drive.
I think I have the first registered in Md.

Hey if you really want one and can afford it, go get it. Like I said, I had to drive 300 miles to get it but I'm glad I did. I am a devoted Chevy man. I own a 2000 S-10 4WD LS. And when my wife wanted to replace her 97 cavalier, I said "hey those cobalts are nice, especially the SS". She fell in love, looked at no other car and had her mind made up. So we bought it and she's thankin me only like a woman can. :D

Yeah my girl likes the SS's too! I think thats cool. I tried to talk her into gettin a RL cause I want a Cobalt SS and dont wanna have to "share" the car and dont want to have two of the same car either. Oh well. She wants to learn to dive a manual better (shes really rough at it now - and she WONT learn on my new SS!!!) but still hasn't learned yet. So she wont be drivin my car anyways!! LOL :D

Sitting inside, the wing isn't really the big of a view deal as some people seem to be making it out to be. At least not for me anyway.

Sound system is nice and clear, and the sub in the back makesits presence felt. Mine should sound even better w/ my w6's in thier HO box...lol, the louder the better

Hey y'all, Im new here, just wanted to say hey and congrats to everyone who has an SS, I bought the LS Sport Coupe and Im gonna Supercharge it later but I still love my car so thats all that matters.

Welcome aboard, man. Im not real sure but there are some turbo and s/c systems out there for the Cavy 2.2L Eco and they might fit your car, or at least you could have a custom shop modify one of the kits to work. But I guess if you pay all that money you'd want it to just bolt on.

I wont do anything more to the system because i dont need all of the Boom Boom i am not in that kind of music.

Anything I do To my car I will prolly just do myself cause most of the Shops around here suck and I love to work on cars but thanx 4 the info! Whats the best lowering kit 4 the cobalts, do ya know? Ive seen a few like Eibach but not sure about their quality, I put Steeda springs on a Mustang but those are all Ive worked with.

Here are a few suspension components:

Eibach, Sportline, and H&R springs. And a few other parts: coilovers, swaybars, etc.

Picked up a red one here in Florida last Sunday (yeah, 2 days before the $1000 cash back). According to the dealer, only 2 in Florida. Of course, I hadn't signed the papers yet and he was trying to push $5000 over msrp for market value, so he was telling me alot of things...

You should have taken it back and re-bought it w/ the $1000 cash back! LOL
Im not sure about in Fla. but here in Tenn you can take any car back within 3 days of purchase no questions asked. I think there is a law about it, due to salesmen pushing cars on people.
