What we believe is the first Cobalt in Texas is now at Modern Performance, a leading Domestic 4 cylinder tuner since 1997. We bought this car on monday, and are very excited to have it. We will be developing and testing parts for the Cobalt/Cobalt SS platform and will also be developing and testing parts for its sister car, the Redline.

We are proud to be here, and hope to be a active part of the SS community !

I'm STOKED about this!!! Modern Performacne is a GREAT company! And like I said I was already plannin to drop some cash there for a Neon but now its definite! I was actually tryin to decide between goin with you guys or Howell Automotive. This has sealed my decision. I like the fact that you guys actually DRIVE the cars that you tune!

For example though, project cars we have boughten over the years to make sure that the products we sell work, and to develop parts for, are : 95 Neon, 97 Neon, 00 Focus, 01 Neon RT, TWO srt-4's and now our Cobalt. We are serious about the Cobalt, enough to go out and drive across Texas to pick up the first one !

Also fwiw, it may not seem like much, but our 03 SRT-4 has almost 20k on it, as its driven 5 days out of the week by myself. This last week I have driven the Cobalt every day, and it will be mandatory for each of our employees to undergo training sessions to learn about the car, and they will be required to drive the vehicle home, to postal office, etc. That way we know the vehicle, and we know what works.

Theres a lot of GM loyalists who may never heard about us, but some Ford owners, and just about all DaimlerChrysler small car owners know about us. So, its very welcoming to have a customer who we can help with both platforms, ie, the Neon and the Cobalt. Thanks for your support CoBizzle !

No problem! I actually haven't even got my SS yet, waitin for 06's to come out. Gotta wait for a wreckless driving ticket to be exponged :o , to save on insurance! But I just got a new credit card, so I believe I'll be purchasing a few things in the next couple of months from you for the Neon, gotta pay off my truck first (next week :D , was gonna be last week but I had to get new brakes, oh well). Don't worry, we'll be in touch!

What about the Redline??!! Anyway you can help out the Saturn community with aftermarket?? It has the same drivetrain and engine as the Cobalt SS....

Im sure at least 90+% of the stuff will be interchangeable...

can't wait to see the car in person, when we have that TEXAS meet next month I hope.

Whoops...guess I was reading too fast...I was getting excited about another company making performance parts!
