Finally I've gotten the hang of driving this thing. Lol, anyway, took my SS for a nice 450+ mile trip this weekend. Up to about 950 miles now...pretty far if you ask me. Had alot of heads turing on the highways this weekend. Lots of GTIs, Acuras, Hondas, Fords, BMWs driving on my ass. I was doin about 80(didn't feel like it) and this guy is riding my ass with his bright headlights glaring into my rearview, so I decide to see what happened when I stepped on the gas. No lie, I went from 80-100 in about 3 or 4 seconds, same goes for the rest of the idiots trying to ride my tail. I was lovin just pullin away from them in 2 seconds and seeing them get farther away. And got my first "mod" too, Cobra radar detector....LOL, smartest "mod" ever. Thats just my story, it's pretty much broken in now; time to goto the detail car wash in my town this week...hehehe :D :p

I know what you mean about gettin the hang of driving this thing. I've been dri ving a stick for years, but stalled this car a couple of times in the begining.

LOL i raced my freind's stock Neon SXT i bet the hell out of it with my Camaro he finally caught up when i finally hit like 100 or so and plus i back off because my car gets scarry some times at 100+ mph.

thats nothing, before we bought the SS, she had a 96 SOHC 4 door neon with 160,000 miles and a rebuilt engine!!! Thae car had such a horrid exhaust leak it sounded like a skeletons bones clicking together going down the road!!!! :eek: :D :eek: :D

Her's is holdin up pretty good. She actually wants to fix it up and put a small boost turbo on there!! I say more power to her! LOL

Damn right i have seen a few people doing V-8 swaps in S10's they make some really insane trucks to drive.

Yeah well Im thinkin about doin a bed cut and puttin 4 12's in the back just to get more wieght over the tires! Plus I'd have the box rhino lined and throw in some plexiglass to see the subs and fiberglass the inside of the box around the subs! It would look so sweet!

Yeah but you will have to get a cover to keep every thing dry.
