hey my dealer here in ky, is trying to tell me that i have to buy both stage kits to get the full upgrade and i asked for a price for both and it was 1200.00
i don't have to have both kits do i?? just wondering?? i've got the money but don't wanna spend that if i don't have to.......

No you dont have to do both. If you want Stage 1 get stage 1, if you want stage 2 get stage 2. stage 2 contains everyting stage 1 does PLUS the smaler pulley and belt. You're stealership is full of sh*t

That would equal stage 2 and is the ONLY way to get stage 2 at the present time. WAIT and buy a CAI or save for some exhaust instead of buying the "upgrade".

Nope. Its contains parts for the supercharger and some fuel injectors..... Sorry....

I heard it from a couple of dealers that visit the forums. However, this info could be wrong. It was just an example of why a dealer would be charging too much for something that shouldn't be anywhere NEAR that price.

Stage 2 kit from EVERY GM dealer =$750 or less (+ installation)

Stage 2 kit for starter of thread =$1200 (with installation)

Installation should not come close to $450.

lol, no. the stages include injectors, a smaller supercharger pulley, and a belt, as well as a reflash and all of these items are specific for the 2.0 sc

ok i already have the injen cai, 3" hi flow cat from gravanna, 3" exhaust with hks ground dragger muffler, ngk irdium plugs, jbp control arm bushing, so i am ready to get the stage 2 kit asap....then i think i will end up buying the stage 3 clutch next week.....lol..... i took my ss to the track 3 days after i bought it and ran a 14.3 in it stock, i lost my slips on the way home, blew out the window, but do have a video of it as soon as i can get it up i will post a link for it....p e a c e

what size is the pulley that comes with the stage 2kit???

Just got home from getting my stage 2 kit installed, I'm happy, definitely livened it up. Boosts about 15-16 psi range. Pulls hard, does 70ish (approx) in 2nd gear now. If anyone has any questions about the kit, ask or pm me. oh and the pulley with stage 2 is 77.9mm (3.06")

We can get stage II ( the one that has stage I and II parts in one kit, not stage II kit you buy if you have stage I) for 1000 CDN. that is a good deal up hear. 1264 is the list price.
