Hey, i'm very new into the car scene, since i only did get my license a couple months ago, but can anyone help me out what is the best exhaust system for my cobalt? i was thinking DC, Apexi, Borla. help please?

my sentiments exactly... though i'm no professional when it comes to parts about cobalts, i've only had mine for 2 and a half weeks :)

What are you looking for from an exhaust change? Sound change or performance improvement. If performance improvement, your money is best spent elsewhere such as for a CAI. If for sound change, what are you wanting it to sound like? Each of the manufacturers has their own unique sound. If you search this sight and ionredlineforums.com, you will find links to sound clips that you can listen to and determine for yourself which one you like. None of the commercially available systems out there are going to give you more than about 3 hp at the wheels. There is about 8 hp to be gained with an offroad down pipe. That is where the major flow restriction is.

how bout u drive a stock car for a little bit until you know enough about tuning.

then look into getting an aftermarket exhaust.
