I would like to second this request cause i heard that it would make my supercharger whine when i rev up in neutral. I know there are other threads but a new one with any new info would greatly be appreciated.

go to the how to section and it wont make ur supercharger whine anymore, u need a cold air intake or a pulley for it to be louder
you only need to do the bypass mod with a smaller blower pulley if you don't have a tune. i do not recommend it.

so, if i did a bypass mod (which i dont know how to do) and a pulley....i wouldnt have to get bigger injectors or a tune?

i hope a few of you are not being serious.
the boost by pass valve mod lets you make a bit more boost on the very top end....maybe worth .2hp becase of our stock tune and about 100other things i dont have time to go into...
you can do it if you want...wont hurt any thing BUT it will not make the SC wine more or any of that crazy-ness.
its only real benifit is that with a pully size drop...a minimal one at that 3.1-2.9 you can use a stock injecter set up as long as you dont drive alot in the cold...or at least not hard in cold weath becase the car will lean out to much..
but when you do that pully swap the car makes more boost...at 16.6psi the by pass valve bleeds boost to keep it closer to the 12psi that we are suposed to get when stock. blocking off the by pass valve stops the car from being able to vent so you make thouse few extra PSI.
HTH....rule of thumb now that we have the technology is that when ever you do any pully swap do a seg of injecters and a tune...that way the car will run safe and fast at all times.
