I am going to the track this Friday if the weather holds. I did a search and couldnt find anything on track preparation. Do you guys have any tips for me?

A couple of things are specific to this track, but almost all of it should apply.

That is some good info iso!

If you find yourself spinnning just let off for a little bit then get back into it. If you can go to the track when they are actually going to prep it.

I have made the mistake twice of going to the track where they make you drive through the water box and they don't prep the track. It is a high school night and it is almost a complete waste of time. Almost being that I get to beat down on some of the high schoolers in their civics. ;)

You should be high 9's stock.

are talking about s/c in the eight? Best i've seen stock is a 9.2. Most between that and 9.7

Really depends on your 60 ft. and track conditions (DA)

Supposed to be like 70 degrees, track is supposed to be sticky too. The only prob is that I have to wear a helmet....

Make sure when you get home to get the barometric pressure and humidity numbers and then figure how close you're running to the magazine guys.
