I'm just curious as to how long those who have ordered a cobalt ss/sc have been waiting and what dealerships in other areas are telling you. I ordered on 3/4/05 which is not long at all compared to some of you I'm sure, but long enough nonetheless. :confused: :confused:

2 weeks...I try and forget that I ordered it so the anticipation doesn't kill me.

i ordered mine late january. my dealer STILL doesn't have a build date for me.
there was a production delay on css w/sunroof.(of course that would include
mine) appearently a leaky seal. i heard some back order cars are built,but waiting
for quality control to release them. info i have is from the folks @ cobaltss forums.net

I ordered 4/21/05 and I have an order # but that's about it. I'm going through my sources to try to get an idea of build schedules. Hey, even GM employees have to wait.

I'm going to wait a little while like I did with my SRT-4, let them get out into the scene for a little while, get the bugs worked out, let aftermarket vendors start taking notice, then go pick it up.
There's always bugs.
....and doing tons of research in the mean time.

I ordered mine in Last September of 2004 but my dealer called and said I will be getting it any day now in the month of May

I couldn't wait any longer, dealership said chey would start a new build end of May which means a mid June delivery. I canceled, found one exactly like I wanted at a dealer near by (they had three). Drove it home last Friday (5/6).

I'd post some pictures if I could figure it out!

Ok when you go to post all you got to do is scroll down before you submit and go down to manage attachments and then find the files on your computer and upload them. But you got to watch some pics may be to large.

I ordered mine April 9th and the dealer called on friday the 6th of May and told me it was in transit. And i should be seein it no later than the 18th of May. Getting kinda excited.. And yes its Red. I will post pics as soon as i can.

January 17... Still don't have my 05. So im holding off for the 06's to be released.
