Yep around trip to the dealer this time they had to put a brand new shifter in my SS. The old one would not go in resrve or into gear!! Pretty sad when you go into the dealer ship and they know you by your first name and they also say not whats wrong with your car lol. I just say the CAR!!

yeah jus got mine outa the shop for the same problem and they ended up having to replae the whole tranny kinda shitty for being an 05 ss/sc

I have the 2.4 and have not had one problem with the shifter. (4900 miles). Sorry to hear you guys aren't having much luck.

The 2.4 is that same thing in the Cavy the 2.0 is a differnt storey.....

lol, good point. i lost the glue. i have to go buy more this weekend and glue that sucker back on. the pattern is sitting in my cup holder.

I have no idea what you just said. If you said that the 2.4 is the same way, it's not. Mine hasn't been any trouble at all. And it's not the same as a Cavy either. They never had Ecotec VVT engines.
