Okay I am little frustrated with my runs that I made. About 80 degrees and a good amount of humidity. I figured out that the Pirelli's that we have do better when you do a burnout(in my case anyway). Had my tires at 25-26 PSI all night too. All I was asking for was 9.99 nope didnt get it. This was my first time at the track too, but I am not going to use that as an excuse. Any suggestions to get my times down? I wanna see high 9's before I start modifying this thing. More power=harder to drive. I wanna master the car stock before I run in competition too.
First Run

Second Run

MPH 73.278

It's all in your launch. It's hard to teach someone how to launch, it really just takes practice. If you get those 60' times down from 2.54 to a 2.4x you'll easily see a 9.8 in the 1/8th.
Lower the better, some stock Cobalts have hit 2.2's in the 60' at decent tracks without a lot of trouble.

i have been starting at 1500rpm and i am getting a 2.2 60foot time but the best 1/8mile time is 9.364 and my psi is at 10. try that and see how you do it works great for me.

Is that completely stock because that 1/8 mi. is pretty good.
