Very nice. What did you pay for the tires? I just put the same ones on my car.

Are those ASA JH8 wheels? I was gonna get those for my car but I didn't. I love them. They just aren't in the budget. I also decided that the billet antenna and grill ties in nicely with the polished wheels.

I love those wheels, just don't think they would look good on my blue car. The tires, well, those are just sick. I still love em everytime I look at my car (I have em too, 225/45/17) and think they perform awesome. You also can't beat the looks.

the grip from these compared to the pirellis is insane. especially since the pirellis are more expensive.

yea, stock tires on the srt-4. definately a good tire, especially for the price.

thank you everyone. i really am in love with these rims now. i was kind of iffy about getting them when i saw them on tirerack, but man, these pictures don't even do them justice.

i should also be putting on my silver powerslot rotors sometime ithin the next few weeks and painting the calipers red, so that should add to it as well.

They do look really good. After seeing real pictures of them, they might not look bad on the blue, because of the center part that's silver as well. They look smaller than 18's too, so I know I would need to up them to 18's for em to look good, and the jury is still out on what size tires to go with for 18's on my dropped RL. The tires though, simply amazing compared to either of our stockers, and for less money. Plus like I said before, the just LOOK better too.

Joe, the car feels awesome with the 2.7 on. How's it feel with your new stage kit? I know you're liking it.

that's a good point. i think these rims would probably look good on just about any color. as far as they look smaller, i agree. i'm thinkin about dropping it now, but i'm not sure. i know my 225/40's fit perfect since they are made for a 7.5 inch wide rim, i suppose 235/40's would fit but i'd rather match up tires and rims perfectly for width. and yea, the bfg's definately perform far better than the stock pirellis. they hold so much better in the corners and off the line. i can't even chirp second, lol.

Nice setup ISO! I won't be getting rims anytime soon but I hope to snag the same tire here in the next couple of months. What's the width of our stock rims? I'm thinking 235/40R18's will be the widest tire size I can go on the stock rims. 225/40's are my second option unless someone tells me the 235's are a no-no.

car looks a hellava lot better now. i'm not too big of a fan of the stock balloon 5 spokes so good job bro on the upgrade!

might I suggest if your a first time KDW owner, be extra aware of rotating the tires and stay on top of it. They also can get loud at times but you learn to tune it out mentally. Enjoy them. I loved mine but went for osmething with a little longer tread life.

I don't know, but I've heard some things with the 235's on your cars catching the fender liner and stuff. With my car dropped the 1.2' I really don't think I can go any wider than the 225, unfortunately. I would love you up it to 235, but it's just not gonna happen. I also don't wanna go any lower than 40 on the sidewall so I don't know if 18's can happen either. I know after the drop, the 17's with these tires look so much bigger, and fill the wheel well in quite a bit better.

i think the stock rim is 7 inches wide. i've heard a 235 will fit but i dunno about rubbing. you can definately run a 225 with no problems. i got 225/40's for these rims and they are very close to the height of the stock tires and rims.

i hate the stock rims. i mean, i love five spokes, but there's just too much material to the stock rims. i like the width of the spokes on these.

and thanks for the heads up on the tires. i will definately rotate them. they are a little bit louder than the pirellis but i just attribute that to the fact that they actually stick to the ground. i don't even mind the sound, and if it gets intrusive... well, that's what the JL in the trunk is for :)

yea, a couple people with 235's had to do some creative modding to get them to not catch. so i'm happy with the 225's, they fit nicely and are still wider than stock giving them a nice look from the rear. i don't know if with your drop 18's will fit either, but a 225/40 on the 17's would probably work. i think the jh8's come in 17's but i haven't checked.

I think they do if I remember correctly, and right now I have 225/45/17's on, so if I stick with 17" rims I'll stick with that tire size. These tires, even when compared to ones of the same size, just look....beafier, for lack of a better word. The only time I can really hear the tires is between 72 and 78/79 on the hightway, they seem to drone a little bit but I just turn up the radio a little more. For what they are, they're awesome.

yup, i just checked tire rack and they come in 17 x 7.5 for 159 a piece compared to 185 for the 18's. so you'll save some dough with the 17's too, and you won't through your speedo off by much. the more i think about it the more i think they would probably look killer on your redline, especially since it's dropped. i don't usually here my tires since there's usually too much thump from my trunk :D. but i definately am loving these tires right now. it's been raining hella bad here, and even in the water they perform so much better than the rosso's. i haven't had much problem with hydro planning or spinning the tires while turning or starting at a light. i love it. i can't wait til it dries again so i can see if i still get wheel hop as bad as i did before.

thanks for the compliment, mt! i thought about 17's just for the weight savings but with wheel gap i would then want to lower it, which would then mean i'd be purchasing a new front lip spoiler every week. do you have a pic or link to the centerlines? it took me almost a year to finally decide on these rims, but i'm always looking at other options :D

Mt, I'm beginning to hate you again. You're making me want to spend money again :p. I like both of the ones you posted as well, as I do with the ones Iso just purchased. If weight is any concer, the centerlines should win over most anything else out there (except the Enkei RPF1 I think they're called, the ones on the time attack cobalt, I think those are even lighter than the centerlines). One of the local RL guys has the second style centerlines you posted, but I haven't seen em in person yet, nor have I with the first set. Both look good, but wonder how they look in person.

my brother's g35... it's nice and all. sounds wicked, interior is amazing. but he pays 500 bucks a month and i pay 350 a month for my car... not to mention who's insurance is cheaper :). and yet, i can walk him from a roll race, and keep even with him from a dig. until he gets his new tires and then i'll have a little more trouble from the dig.
