For those trying to keep up with info about the latest and greatest from Microsoft.
I have been seeing quite a few pics of this design and it seem that this is what M$ is going with for the new XBOX 360, which is the new name now.
Mtv is going to have a special showcasing the new XBOX on May 12th @ 930pm, check www.mtv.com for more info on the first unveiling.
So far specs have been noted as...
-Processor power consisting of 3, count' em 3 dual core CPU's with each core rated @ 3.5Ghz...3.5 x 6 = 21Ghz....holy f$*#
-Video processor is done by ATi this time around, 512MB of VRAM.
-Backwards compatibility is not confirmed but is highly likely.
-controllers will be all wireless, so if you look close at the pic, you will see no controller ports only a black infrared window.
-2 versions, 1 with a hard drive @ 40GB and 1 without a HDD.
(to lower pricing for those not wanting fully loaded)
-XBOX Live being built into every game one way or another and will have a centralized hub for all online gaming content, no more confusing menu's built by each game maker.
More info to come.
