detroit_tuner 07-17-2006, 10:40 AM that guy in the black balt sucks at driving a stick.

Probably true, but we would have lost regardless...
detroit_tuner 07-17-2006, 01:32 PM ohh I agree on that too. I mean the Intense kit blows, but it is dependable. And Gm is probobly giving this "stage kit" stuff, a second thought now..lol. I mean how long has the SRT-4 already been in production for the Neon. I have decided to say screw it.Struggling to get 260whp with the upgarde kits, I'll just wait for the Camaro.
detroit_tuner 07-17-2006, 01:34 PM I like my car...but pretty dissapointed. I would have willingly paid 4-6 grand more for performance off the line.

I looked into a Cobalt before my SRT4, but I thought it was overpriced so I bought an SRT4. I wanted an EVO but couldnt afford one

I understand what your saying and agree but, my car never ceases to impress me. The cobalts are constantly underrated by others and its fun to beat people who never saw it coming. Either way, the cobalt suffers from a dig, either bog or spin.
domin8_gt 07-20-2006, 04:43 AM Great vids. When I talk about the red ss/sc I saw you race I'm referring to your race with video. it was at night time on the same road you raced the trans am's. You are fast, I've never taken that away from you. And I agree with detroit_tuner (and said it in another thread) the guy in the black ss/sc doesn't know how to race. I've raced a stage 1 srt-4 on the same road you raced the black ss/sc. had him from the dig to the end of 2nd, then he took me in 3rd.

I know he doesnt know how to race, but he is a friend of mine and he'll happily admit he's still learning.
Well thanks for the support!
I just posted another one of my and a LS1

Lol.... well thanks!
domin8_gt 07-20-2006, 10:05 PM Orlando, do you and the black ss work at the same place? Also, if your friend wants help driving I'll help him. I've been told that I'm fast, but don't know how accurate that is. Also, does your friend have a torque damper? That would help him in his launch. Also, I know how fast the stage 2 srt4 is. I roll raced just for fun last week against one. He even gave me a gear (i was in second, he was in third) and let me do the honking to start. I had no chance. He killed me from the beginning.
Video2402 07-21-2006, 12:27 AM Wait! was that the silver one we were with the other night?
domin8_gt 07-21-2006, 12:54 AM Yes it was

I believe he does have a torque damper... not sure though ill ask and find out.
My car isnt Stage 2 for much longer though, yay!!!! NO more stock turbo!!!
Anyway, seriously all Stage 2 does it add more fuel, lots! It makes you run PIG RICH if not leaned out. I was running a 9.01afr at redline.
I had to get a new wastegate and fuel-controller (DTEC-FC) to lean this sucker out... now Im around 11.5afr with the tuned map, but I dont drive around on the tuned map. I drive around on the stock map.
Video2402 07-21-2006, 08:36 AM Yes it was
oh, I see. We went from a roll, and again 3rd gear!!!
domin8_gt 07-22-2006, 01:32 AM oh, I see. We went from a roll, and again 3rd gear!!!
No, one race, from a roll. I was in second since we were going too fast for 1st. I started in second which meant I had the higher rpms at launch, he was in third. I signaled the start and he was killing me from the beginning.
West Palm SRT4 07-25-2006, 11:18 PM That might have even been better for him, he was right at the begining of his power band.
CoBIZZLE 07-25-2006, 11:32 PM I think by sayin " again 3rd gear" he meant the third gear on SRT4's are badass and will rape a stock cobalt... (from a roll)
domin8_gt 07-26-2006, 04:40 AM Yes they will, but he was stage 2 also. No way a stock SS/SC with CAI was a match. Doesn't matter, it was all for fun. We both agreed on it.
Orlandoech 07-26-2006, 05:58 AM Calm down killers... just a video.
My car is slow.... trust me.
West Palm SRT4 07-31-2006, 09:53 PM I think by sayin " again 3rd gear" he meant the third gear on SRT4's are badass and will rape a stock cobalt... (from a roll) Right you are mate!
S8ER95Z 08-09-2006, 08:41 PM What all do you have done? (times?)... nice races...
