Well this is my first post here and I would like to ask a couple questions. So make yourself comfortable cause this one may be a little long. Please feel free to grab a sandwich or maybe a quick nap.

My brand new ss/sc will be delivered to the dealership in about 1 week and I have a couple questions about forced induction.

First, will adding an intake make the supercharger whine louder? I was a little upset about how quiet the sc is on the car. Common we pay good money for the car to have a sc and you can't hear it. If not who cares because I already have my AEM sitting right next to me waiting to go on.

Second, I drove the sc cobalt again (5th time) today and at high rpm from 2nd to 3rd gear I noticed a very faint blow off. I don't know about you but I think that is the coolest sound, either sitting at a light giving it a quick rev or just driving down the street. Is there any way to amplify that sound with maybe a blow off since the car comes stock with an intercooler? The extra boost/pressure has to be released somehow.

I fell in love with the cobalt ss/sc a couple months ago when a friend of mine picked me up one day. Not sure what it is about the car and I'm not sure you guys do either but whatever it was as soon as I got in it I just knew I had to have this car.

Well I guess I will end this post here, please don't read this post thinking I am some punk kid trying to have a cool car, I have had the cool cars in the past. I am in my late 20's I have a career, a wife, a house, and a very big passion for cars. I have an extensive background in car shows, I have traveled the country competing in shows, and I have been sponsored by big name companies. Ya know what who cares that dosen't matter I have come here looking to make some online friends and get some good advise from others who share the same passion I do. yes if you put on a cold air intake or even modify your stock one you will get a much louder whine to your car...I must say it is a big difference and sure does get attention, plus literally scares the hell out of people haha who dont have a clue what kind of car we have

also for a blow off valve, ive heard its possible but there isnt much of a point...but buying a blow off valve i think will require some work so im not to sure about that at all

and yes i think we all love our cobalts haha especially the ones here who have the whole package

Ya know what, I didn't even have to get in the Cobalt SS to know that I had to have it. I was driving by the lot and saw this S.O.M. Cobalt SS 4 door and I absolutely fell in love with it the second I saw it and I had to pull a U to get an up close and personal look at it. After I got my rear windows tinted it made me fall in love with it all over again. Its just a beautiful car, and the SS and SS S/C look almost nothing like a regular Cobalt. I was looking at it out the window the other day, a side profile shot of it, and I thought to myself, That looks nothing like my uncles Cobalt. Though I do not have a supercharger like you 2.0L guys but just give it time and I will pwn all :p j/k I sure will give you a run though ;)

It will not only make your supercharger louder, but also make your car significantly faster and more balanced. It also will maintain your factory warranty.
