Hey, i was looking for a simple mod i could do while trying to get the most bang 4 my buck and while i was looking at www.intense-racing.com i came across their pcm for the ecotec engine. Has n e used this and if so how well does it work? i hope this question has not been posted b 4. I know very little about mods so sorry if this question is stupid. :confused: lol thanks

I have their stage 3 kit and it runs fine. They dont recommend running their PCM if you have an aftermarket intake because they do their tunes on the stock airbox. I however have an aftermarket intake and my car tends to hiccup every now and then but not that bad. I am getting a custom tune for my AFR in the next couple weeks.

I would get a stagekit from intense but my cobalt is leased so im not gonna bother with something that drastic, but what kind of gains do you thing i would get if i just got the pcm and lets say an intake?

Well what you would get would end up contradicting itself unless you go a custom tune. Intense does their tunes on a stock intake. If you get their PCM and an intake. You will probly run the lean code and your A/F will be off. Just get the intake if you leased the vehicle.

Yeah, my car is a lease too and I have all the makings of an Intense Stage 4 kit on the car right now.

INTENSE just sent out my Stage 5 today!!! I can't wait until I can drive again!!!!

But what would you guys do if you wrecked or something happened? Doesn’t modding void the lease?
