: Camaro Z28 Stock vs Cobalt SS S8ER95Z 08-08-2006, 12:01 PM I just ran a guy last night up in Clinton, IA (just messing around a little)... Its fairly obvious the outcome but the guy said he ran a 13.7 stock.. little suspicious and I thought I would ask if that has even happened yet... (judging by 1/8th times ive seen its not).. Some of us are sticking to our guns and saying the SS is the better performer. S8ER95Z 08-09-2006, 07:45 PM Your kidding right?? The Z and the SS are the same... (by next to nothing) Same powertrain, SS is heavier. Not sure what impact the suspension changes had on the launch, so that could make up for the weight. Also, rumour has it that a couple vette-spec engines made it into the last few made, so those will pick up a tick.
