Me too. On my '86 Monte Carlo SS. The manifold would leak so I threw on a set of hooker headers with dumps. Scared the shit out of people at the ol' light.

we ran a '68 camaro 327 with just headers for like a week before we had the exhaust done and that thing was loud as hell. kind of sucked because the fumes would come in through the stift boot and get you high. not a good high, a pretty dirty one. lol.

lol, i have a horrible valve tap already at 20,000 miles. the car is going in hopefully tomorrow or saturday to get looked at for this. all my friends joke around with me telling people that i have a custom valve tap. it sounds like shaking a tin can of quarters on start up.

usually them. most of my friends have quicker cars than i. modded evo's, modded wrx's, a 300zxTT, a crx with a worked b16 that takes me by a car everytime, another crx with a b16, a crx with a turbo'd d series, a 540 rwhp camaro, a worked mustang gt and a worked bullit mustang, an 06 roush mustang, see where i'm goin? lol, there's a handful of cars i can take, a stock crx, a stock civic, some rsx s's, but most of the cars i hang out with are fast as hell.

well actually only one of them relies on the mommy and daddy money. the kid with the modded rex. the evo is all from military money and he lives at home so he has no bills other than car. and most of the other cars are old pos's that they bought and fixed up themselves. kinda makes me wish i did that instead of having all my money go to car payments, insurance, and gas, with little mod money.

yea i got the cobalt, an 03 ram quad cab, and a honda 450r quad, and i'm lookin to buy a k-5 blazer to offroad with. and yet i wish the cobalt was faster, go figure. maybe if i bought less vehicles and just concentrated on one i'd have a fast car, lol.

well the car is stock other than rims and a the airbox mod. i'm gonna put the stock airfilter and the airbox cover back on so i don't get crap for it. and hopefully they do something about it. it sounds like garbage and my car has felt really weak since it started making the noise.
