GM took the wraps off their new website at this weekend’s SEMA International Auto Salon in Atlantic City, NJ. The site, www.gmtunersource.com, and the second-generation GM Sport Compact Performance Build Book were announced to lure the tuner crowd to GM’s small car offerings. The Ecotec four-cylinder engine gets the most attention with a host of new accessories, but the site also sells transmission and chassis mods. The Chevrolet Cobalt, Saturn ION, Pontiac Solstice and Saab 9-2x are featured on the site.

Is this a site where GM can sell typically overpriced and sometimes crappy aftermarket parts to try and gain business from the young "tuner" crowd?

For some odd reason the manual has become hard to find on the site. Here is the exact location of the cobalt guide to 1400 HP. Address:
http://www.gm.com/company/gmtunersource/downloads/gm_sport_compact_performance_build_book.pdf

This should be your how to guide on 2.2 and 2.0 engines. :)
