antireversion 05-23-2005, 11:14 PM does the n/a and the force fed ecotec engine have the same bolt pattern on the exhaust side of the head? and is the engine positioned the same way?, Im interested in designing a stepped primary longtube header for the cobalt/cobaltss/ion/redline, and I was wondering if the fitment was the same for all 4 applications? thanx wheelburns 05-24-2005, 06:06 PM your comparing the 2.0 to the 2.2 head i dont think anyone has a definitive anwser as of just yet GoofyGuy 05-24-2005, 06:14 PM they are 100% the same I have seen many of both and even the ports are the same size. You would think they would have stepped it up but NOOOO GoofyGuy 05-25-2005, 08:48 AM in the ions they have 2 differnt setups for motor mounts. I assume the same will be for the Cobalt. The Ion uses all the same except the top mount which can vary between the 5 trim levels. Really that is kinda nice because if they were different it would more expensive for the 2.0 but not sure becuae you would think it would be more expensive but i guess not.
