does the n/a and the force fed ecotec engine have the same bolt pattern on the exhaust side of the head? and is the engine positioned the same way?, Im interested in designing a stepped primary longtube header for the cobalt/cobaltss/ion/redline, and I was wondering if the fitment was the same for all 4 applications? thanx

they are 100% the same I have seen many of both and even the ports are the same size. You would think they would have stepped it up but NOOOO

in the ions they have 2 differnt setups for motor mounts. I assume the same will be for the Cobalt. The Ion uses all the same except the top mount which can vary between the 5 trim levels. As I have seen some pics of the SS engine bay I am certain that the SS and Redline do share those.

Really that is kinda nice because if they were different it would more expensive for the 2.0 but not sure becuae you would think it would be more expensive but i guess not.
BTW thanks for the info. :)

i was actually disappointed i was in hope that the heads were different offerin a possible lower compression ratio.
