rlinden86 10-10-2006, 04:48 PM has anyone bought the 2.4L cobalt catback from like there dealer or gm. i found out its the same tubing as corsa but 200 bucks cheaper its 425 at my dealership and 610 at corsa site. has anyone bought it and if its any good to buy im thinking about getting the gm exhaust i think its a good deal but does it sound good. and the interior trim package in the color of your car thats 250 but im not sure yet. any help thanks. ryan. Cobalt_06 10-10-2006, 07:21 PM my delaer ship wants a little over 1000 for it and installed BLUE_SS_STAGE2 10-10-2006, 09:39 PM has anyone bought the 2.4L cobalt catback from like there dealer or gm. i found out its the same tubing as corsa but 200 bucks cheaper its 425 at my dealership and 610 at corsa site. has anyone bought it and if its any good to buy im thinking about getting the gm exhaust i think its a good deal but does it sound good. and the interior trim package in the color of your car thats 250 but im not sure yet. any help thanks. ryan. i have it on my ss/sc (same system) there are two styles just like the corsa. touring & performance (or in corsa's view touring & sport). i am very happy with my system, i went with the touring even though its another $75 more or so. its not all riced out & it has a nice pitch. i would definitely recommend the GM system as well as manifold. matter of fact, i'll see if i can find the dyno sheet but we tested an SS/na & it got about 9whp with the manifold it self & a total of about 20 with the exhaust system. i would go for. rlinden86 10-11-2006, 07:46 AM 20 hp with just exhaust and no manifold thats pretty good i would think. but i think there manifold is like 150 at least i didnt price it. and there cai is like 350 but im not getting that its to much ill go through like aem or something. yeah the only thing is i can only get header and exhaust from gm not downpipe or anything. and thats whats in between those 2 so that defeats the purpose. and there isnt one online that i know of yet. but i think i might get the sport one or performance same thing. its like 400 or so at my dealership before install. and i dont know how much that is. im going to try and get installed along with my 3000 mile oil change which is 500 miles away which is very soon. so i dont know yet. plus me not working cuz of my surgery i start work on monday again. i cant wait to get back to what i like doing. well thanks ryman. | ||
