Anyone have a sound clip of the Borla Exhaust System? I'm anxious to hear it, because I've heard nothing but good things about that brand. Thanks for the help.

There's an exhaust thread on the "other" Cobalt site (.net) that has sound clips and where to get the best price for every available exhaust for the Cobalt. Just search for "Official Exhaust Thread" and you'll be able to hear all the exhausts you might be considering.

Tho it's ultimately your decision, just let me tell you this: Borla makes the GMPP exhaust as well, and is almost half the price. ;)

So then that would make the Borla Exaust under warranty as well?? If so that'd be freakin awesome.

cat-back exhausts won't mess up your warranty relentless of what brand you choose. Its when you get into headers and de-cat downpipes (usually dealers aren't a big fan of removing your cat) that your dealer may frown upon your warranty. I'm not a big fan of the Borla/GMPP design, as I find it to be rather subtle for my taste, but nontheless, Borla usually makes pretty quality products and warranties them, so get what makes ya happy.

Sweet, that's good to hear. I've been trying to find out what some exhausts sound like. I want something deep ya know, something that signifies actual power, not just some coffee can exhaust. I've heard the GMPP Touring CB Exhaust, and it was alright, but I want something a little louder...

The touring model exhausts from both Corsa and GMPP/Borla are quieter than the sport model exhausts offered by both companies. My ARK N2 is deep until you get higher into the RPMs, when it really comes alive and roars. Kinda tinny towards the higher RPMs, but I love that sound, but is also due in fact that I don't have a cat, which makes things sound a bit tinnier. I'd check out Magnaflow too. They always make quality exhausts. Just make sure you stay away from Megan Racing's exhaust......have heard nothing but bad about it. Hope I was of some help.
