I just ordered the GM CAI, Exhaust+Tip, And the Exhaust Manifold. I know I should have already asked this but is the GM CAI on par with K&N CAI? Thanks for any feedback.

i thought the gm cai was only for the 2.2l and the 2.4l. you may want to verify this, because i thought they were going to make it for the 2.0l, but stopped. it could have changed, but that's how it used to be.

I've seen videos of cobalt SS's (Supercharged) with GMPP CAI.

the position and style of our stock system can actually be concidered a "cai", but the airbox is obviously restrictive. a cone style k&n would almost be the same as doing a complete cai system, but the new one will look better and have just a little better airflow through out.

The part number i have ordered for my SS/SC is 17800653. that's the GMPP CAI. Does work with the 2.0?

The actual air inlet is separated from the engine compartment. GM just didnt make it chrome.
The snorkel on top of the airbox really isnt all that small and it's easy enough to take off the bottom.
