Sorry, I have not heard that sound out of my SS.

yea i havent heard anything either.. but when im starting to accelerate.. it kinda makes a whistling noise...like around turns and stuff... does anyone else have that problem?

Eversince I outran this undercover cop and I had to go thru a couple bumps pretty fast I hear that. I know what you are talking about. I've taken my car to the dealership after that and they checked it out and said there's nothing wrong, but I could swear it didn't do that before. Please let me know whatever you find out about that :eek: Sounds to me like the same exact problem though, I'm not 100% sure that caused the sound to start. And honestly it's not much of the sound, I can feel it on the pedal, on my foot, but there's not too much of a sound to it. Am I right? Sounds to me like it would be the CV joints but i've had mine checked out and seems to b OK

chevy has a problem on many other models with the intermediate steering shaft. Had it on my 04 silverado SS and sounds like the same thing. Esp on slight turns over bumps.
