i was wondering if anyone has changed the oil on their CobaltSS yet. I bought the filter and it does not look like any filter i have seen. and i can not find where the hell the filter is in the first place. if anyone has done it let me know where the filter is. thanks

Take a look at the driver's side of the engine bay, about half way back. Under part of the supercharger housing lies the oil filter canister. It isn't the easiest thing in the world to get off, but you can remove it without taking off the blower. At that, removing the supercharger is very easy.

well put, i use a 3/8 long extension and a 1 1/4 socket to take it off (i think the head is actually metric but 1 1/4 works)

Yeah it's metric, as is nearly all of the car from my experience. I just cannot understand why the oil filter housing wasn't put in that huge gaping space towards the passenger side of the engine bay. I know the regular 2.2 is in the same place, but come on. Who wants to make a relocation kit?
cool thanks i would have never found it
