i just bought me a cobalt today... got rid of that p.o.s. 2000 cougar slushbox that i kept dumping money into and just would not go anywhere lol


i was looking around and it looks like magnaflow has an exhaust for the cobalts, but it sounds like all the other fart cans. does anyone know of a kit that has a mid-placement muffler, instead of on the end?

also i did some searching, but has anyone seen any cai's around yet? i know the car is pretty new... i just an extra grand to spend on parts and not sure what all is out there yet

A few of the sponsers of the site are makeing things for the Cobalt SS. But not to many things right now. Just give it a few more months

Well you definitely got it.
So far there are s/c pulleys, a header, catbacks, intake nearing the end of development I believe (drop in for now), and the pull and plug for the bypass valve (some say works others say it doesnt).

i knew once i topped out in 4th gear with ease during the test drive (on a race track of course) i was taking it home

it's like you gotta give your cougar a downhill start to get it up to 125 lol
