i would like to put a set of h&r springs on my balt, i'm going to check the setup when i get it up on the lift this weekend. speaking of this... does anyone need any pictures of anything specific from the underside or suspension? i'm going to snap alot of pics so if anyone has any questions they don't have to waste any time putting their car on a lift

Did you need to adjust your camber at all?

That is a pretty significant drop, I would think you would have needed to do some kind of camber work.

Also, are you planning on replacing your shocks/struts anytime soon or are you going to try and ride with the stockers?

did you have any issues with getting the spring compressors in there? how long did it take to do them? were there any other issues you had during the install?

i ask because my cougar was a pain in the ass to install a set, we ended up having to grind off part of the screws from the compressors, one was completely stuck and it turned into an all day job.

I am assuming you are riding on stock struts, how does it feel? Is it bouncy as all hell like on the J Bodies?

Well guys i have pics, it says there too big to put on so... ill have to fix that. It was really easy, took alittle more than an hour. I put them in and painted the calipers red at the same time, so subtract that time. No compressor needed for the back, only the front.

Less than two months ago I did the suspension in my cougar. It was a pain in the ass. Now I have to start all over again on the cobalt. I hope they make some decent coilovers for this car!

How much did that you cost you and would it void your warrenty

Technically yes, it voids your warranty. However, decisions are made on a dealer by dealer basis and you may find one that is cool with that sort of stuff. But, if the failure is completely unlrelated then you at least have an argument.

Prematurely worn dampers? You're stuck.

Is that the pro-kit or the sportlines? Becuase I am ready to order and I was thinking about the sportlines but im not sure if that would be too low.

check out the h&r set.. they make the best progressive springs i've ever had th epleasure of riding on... they ride so well that even with the cheapest struts i could buy, when i installed them on my cougar i decided not to spend any money on sway bars.
