Looking for a good header for my SS. I have the GM STAGE 2 done and a Magnaflow cat back. I also have a K&N drop in. Good results currently but now I want more. I like the looks of the Vibrant Header+DP, but is it any good. I do not want to put in solid motor mounts since I hate the vibrations. Also I would like to spin the blower alittle faster, could I put a 2.7 on with the GM tune?

vibrant is no good. if you want just a header go with the zzp shorty header.
Hahn also makes a good header but its pricey.
2.7 is too small for the gm s2 tune. youll have to get a custom tune or run a stage 3. You better think about some cooling mods as well

Ok, everyone says that pulley is too small on my tune. Good. Now what cooling mods can I do. I am trying Purple Ice in the Intercooler ( maybe it works?) I saw a Cobalt on a web site that had the pump wired to a switch. Let me throw this out. I have a scan gauge in the car, I know my intake air temp is typically 3 degrees warmer than the air temp. Is there a way to flip that difference?

get either a cx racing or cobra heat exchanger for starts.
as for the gauge i do not know but someone here prolly does.

A 2.7 pulley is definately to small for our tune. there is much debate on the size of pulley that is safe on a stage 2 tune, I have heard of between 3" and 2.8" is ok. I am going with a 2.85" for mine, I'll let you know how it works out once it gets here and is put on if you like. Def. go with an h/e for cooling, I have the dual pass as well, but not everyone likes it.

Yeah let me know if that pulley works! Does anyone have expirience with water/methenol injection?? Painless has a setup that looks good, is it too much for the car?
