Neons are junk, Trust me, I owned one. I will never make that mistake again. Watching those things at the track they look like they are ready to fall apart. The Cobalt is a much better built car than the Cav and way better than any Neon!

Well, I haven't had the chance to sit in the SS but I HAVE rode with my friend in his SRT-4, and other than the seats, I felt like I was riding in a plastic Power Wheels toy car(exagerating obviously)! Oh and by the way, he's on his second car, due to the Lemon Law!!! :eek: In JUST OVER A YEARS TIME!!! cobalt looks nicer, but srt-4 looks more aggressive. i like the tailights on the cobalt kinda look like the corvettes. and the comment about "the srt is only faster when you get into speed is retarded!!! well at least we know its as fast when its not in speed(in other words parked!!) but hey so is every other car. no offense but that was retarded. hehehe

Supercharged cars with a roots blower are quick off the line because the power is instant.

After the launch most turbo or centrifical superchargers do better up top.

Unless of course there are more mods made.

But I like the 0-60 and fast acceleration that the eaton blower gives w-body and cobalts. I don't have a need to go very fast on the high end. I have enough tickets :rolleyes:

I sat in and started up an SS today and well it's feels just like a 20k. It's just like a Neon, a cheap car dressed up a little with a nice custer and some leather. Nothing to write home about. This was a 23k model not sure what options they come with but it had a ricey wing and a sunroof. The car was sold so I didn't get to test drive it but I have taken a ION RL for a ride so I am sure it's the same. My review, Cobalt onwers anything to brag about over SRT owners. Also the supercharger made the motor sound like it had a bad rod bearing.
