Chevrolet has just revealed the very first photos of the all-new Aveo subcompact ahead of its debut later this month at the Paris Auto Show. The car keeps many of the design cues from the Aveo RS Concept shown at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, including the large front grille, oversized headlights and the rear door handles that are hidden into the C-pillar.

Longer and wider than the current Aveo, Chevy promises more interior space that will but the Aveo "among" the best in class. Also promised is a much-improved interior, retaining the "motorcycle-inspired" instruments with an analogue tachometer and digital speedometer. Chevy says the new Aveo will get a modern audio system with compatibility for USB and Bluetooth.

Also promised is "involved handling" while all models will get electric power steering, stability control and ABS brakes.

As for what's under the hood, Chevy will offer both a 70-hp and 86-hp 1.2-liter engine, a 100-hp 1.4-liter and a 115-hp 1.6-liter in Europe. (Sorry, no 1.4T…. not yet anyway). Both of the larger engines will, however, be available with a 6-speed automatic, while a 6-speed manual is standard. Also available (in Europe) are two 1.3-liter diesels making 75-hp and 95-hp respectively.

Full details will be released at the car's Paris Auto Show Debut, where Chevy will also unveil the production versions of the Orlando MPV and the Cruze Hatchback. (NOTE: All details for this article from from Chevrolet Europe and model details may chance for the U.S. market version of the Aveo).

I have an 07 Cobalt ss non supercharged. I bought it with 40k on it just over a week ago. Tonight while heading on base it died. Just flat out stopped working. Before it happened I went to put up the passenger side window and the radio flickerd off and back on as well as the lights dimming. I reached over and put it up with the passenger door switch. Wondering what was wrong I tried it again. And thats when the car died. It will not start now, nor will it take a jump.

The dash lights still light up but the radio lights do not when key is in ignition. When I try to start it the daytime running lights do come on.

Thats basically it. It is currently sitting at the dealership I bought from waiting to be looked at in the morning. I havent decided if I still want it after they fix it or if I want to give it up for something else.

Any ideas on what it might be ?

Not sure if this is the correct forum for my questions, Mods plz have mercy, but as the title suggests I am looking to upgrade my sound System in my '08 Chevy Cobalt Sport (Not SS just Sport), any tips, tutorials, advice, tech help, what I need to buy, and overall advice would be nice and greatly appreciated. Looking to spend 300-400 max and keep most of the trunk space. The stock system is a 7 speaker pioneer system with a 10 inch sub in the back not sure what amp powers it or anything. I am pretty new to this but I consider myself to be a quick learner in the mech/tech field so advice and step by step stuff is appreciated. Thanks to everybody who helps me out here:D
