The wheels had his track tires on them. they are 17" X 7.5 FAST Wheels and I paid $100 each. Steel wheels were going to cost about the same and I knew the FAST Wheels would clear the Brembos.
The tires are Falken Euro Winters and I paid $160+ for them. With taxes on the tires and the cost of the wheels, it was about $1150 total. Tires are great and a little softer ride than the summer ones. Hope that helps.
Nice my winter setup for mine is just 18inch Hankook W300s they cost me about the same $1100 for the set of four. I was thinking about getting rims and tires but I figure I'll just buy aftermarket rims for summer and use the stockers for winter.

I heard they were going to stop making the cobalt after 2010. And in 2011 or 2012 they were making a whole new model. I heard it was going to be 4 door awd turbo. And run like a whole 1/2 a second faster in the quarter then an evo. Rumor I heard. Does anyone know if there is any truth in this?

Negative Ghostrider. The rumor of the SS going away is true. But there is no AWD in GM's future. The car you are referring to is the Cruze and the turbo version of this 4-door is going to be a 1.4L 4 Cyl. I say thats a rip. Discontinuing the SS and the cobalt line is GM's biggest mistake they ever made. I even told GM's reps at a car show I went to over the weekend

Dont worry MT they'll bring it back one day. Hopefully they bring the Balt back with a better Turbo. LOL

I'm waiting for the warranty to expire and then I'll change it to a Garrett. Still got a way to go unfortunately as I just bought her new at the end of October!
